How to use the Scientific Calculator

This scientific calculator supports standard arithmetic as well as complex functions. It is designed to work in both **Degree** and **Radian** modes.

Common Functions:
  • Trigonometry: Use sin, cos, and tan for geometric calculations.
  • Logarithms: log refers to base 10, while ln is the natural logarithm (base $e$).
  • Power & Roots: Use $x^y$ for exponents and $\sqrt{x}$ for square roots.
  • Percent: Context-aware: for example, 200 + 10% becomes 200 + (200 * 10 / 100).
Keyboard Shortcuts
  • Type 0–9, operators + - * / ^, ( ), or ..
  • Enter to evaluate, Backspace to delete, Esc to clear.
  • Alt+C=MC, Alt+M=MR, Alt++=M+, Alt+-=M-.
  • Quick function keys: s=sin, c=cos, t=tan, l=log (base 10), n=ln, r=√, p=π, e=e, %=percent, !=factorial
